It has certainly been a busy few weeks!  The Christmas concert was lovely.  The whole school did a splendid job of telling the story of Jesus' birth.  Second Grade did an especially great job with their heavenly voices!

We are preparing for our trip to Philipsburg Manor; I'm excited to go back, it's been a long time since I've visited the Manor, and I've never seen it at Christmas.  While perusing the extended forecast, it appears that we may luck out with the weather!  We do, however, need to be prepared and warm.

These next few days are jammed packed with activity,  so I will take time now to wish you all a blessed Christmas with your families.  Treasure each moment big and small.  Each one matters immensely. I hope you all experience the magic and joy of Christmas and that the light of Jesus shines in your life throughout 2019.

You will be in my prayers for a blessed Thanksgiving celebration with your family and friends.  Family and friends are among the most treasured gifts we have.  May you all come together in prayerfulness and peace and reflect upon all that is good in your life.

I hope that you and your children all had a safe and fun Halloween!  Yes, yesterday was a school day so we had to do some work, however, we ended our day with a yummy treat and two fun stories to get us into the spirit of the day!  Many thanks to our room parents, Mrs. Zingaro, Mrs. Woods and Mr. Woods, for bringing warmth and Halloween spirit into our class community.  The stories even had good old-fashioned, "effects!" The giggles I heard confirmed that all had fun!

I look forward to our mass this morning and hope to see many of you there.
